The deal for Blackrock to acquire Barclays Global Investors including the important ishares business is officially done, according to reports on Reuters newswires. It is possible that this will have some ramifications for the pound, now that the deal is actually signed off on, but with global businesses these days operating over so many jurisdictions and currencies, it may well not include any FX transactions whatsoever.
